Remember when R&B didn't mean Mary J Blige and Beyoncé? Those were the days! Old gits with fond memories of the '70s pub rock movement can get their fix at the latest gig from nostalgically inclined promoters Vinyl Japan. The Realgoods feature the original Dr. Feelgood rhythm section of John 'Sparko' Sparks and John 'The Big Figure' Martin, with post-Wilko Johnson guitarist John 'Gypie' Mayo and '90s-era vocalist Pete Gage. That's more original members than you can expect from Eddie and the Hot Rods, who consist of Barrie Masters on vocals and a bunch of people you've never heard of – not that anyone's likely to complain, mind you. There's no support on the first night, while they've got hilarious Link Wray descendants Eddie Legend Story as openers on the Sunday.
