Head to Hitachi Seaside Park this August to see big names like Illit, Babymetal, Kyary Pamyu Pamyu and more at LuckyFes 2026, one of Japan’s fastest-growing music festivals. Returning for the 4-day holiday weekend from August 8 to August 11, the outdoor live music festival is celebrating its fifth anniversary with a larger-than-ever line-up of over 150 artists, covering everything from J-pop and J-rock to idol groups and VTubers.
This year’s acts include Japanese and overseas bands and artists, bringing all genres and generations together. Expect to see Babymetal, AKB48, MyGo!!!!!, Atarashii Gakko!, Illit, Kana-boon, NiziU, Kyary Pamyu Pamyu, Man with a Mission, Dragon Ash, Wednesday Campanella and many more.
Located just under two hours from Tokyo, the seaside park becomes its own world between sets: giant art installations, food stalls serving everything from festival classics to local Ibaraki prefecture specialities, and fireworks over the water each night.
In honour of the festival’s fifth birthday, special discounts are available on 3-day and 4-day passes.
