The reigning hooligan king of indie pop never fails to surprise – for instance, by revealing his home address, complete with an invitation for coffee, in his 2015 mini-album Another One. This year's follow-up This Old Dog doesn't include any self-doxxing gestures, but it does include an immersive, full 360-degree virtual reality music video for the eponymous single, replete with computer-generated Escher-esque architecture and humanoid dog creatures. In addition to a solo gig, DeMarco will be appearing alongside Shugo Tokumaru at local indie favourites Mitsume's party on the preceding Sunday.
