Madina Lake

Rarely has a band's music been more overshadowed by their off-stage antics than with Madina Lake. Twin brothers Nathan and Matthew Leone financed the group's first EP in 2006 with their winnings from stunt reality TV show Fear Factor (they kicked arse, apparently), but Matthew went one further in 2010, when he landed himself in a coma after trying to stop a man from beating up his wife. Too bad that this fearlessness hasn't really filtered through to the group's music, which sticks mostly to a Lostprophets-esque alt. rock template that's efficient but painfully low on surprises.
