Time Out says

While Liam motored ahead with Beady Eye, Noel Gallagher took a little longer to launch his next project after the messy demise of Oasis in 2009. When he finally released the first High Flying Birds album in October 2011, it turned out to be exactly what people had expected: solidly written songs, solidly performed, but not a whole lot more.

Their latest album, 'Who Built the Moon', is kind of like Oasis meets Jet, but with a few surprises thrown in – some psych-rock vibes and even some folksiness on one track. Not to mention that when the album title is said together with the band name, it makes a pretty interesting sentence.

Coming off the 'Warm Up Festival' in Murcia, Spain, NGHFB is hitting Japan for a 3-day 3-city tour: Tokyo to Nagoya to Osaka. The Tokyo venue is the massive event hall Makuhari Messe, which is actually just across the border into Chiba.
