Time Out says

A year on from their appearance on the Rookie A Go-Go stage at Fuji Rock Festival, Odotte Bakari no Kuni seem to be doing quite nicely for themselves. The Kobe quartet are due to play at Hokkaido's Rising Sun Festival next month, and at Osaka's Rush Ball the month after that. There's something Kinks-esque about Odotte's jangling guitar lines, although singer Shimotsu Mitsufumi's strained vocals are more reminiscent of RC Succession's Kiyoshiro Imawano. After releasing their full-length debut, Sebula, in March this year, they've already got another album due in the autumn, and will be road testing the new material at this solo show.
