With this summer's At the Drive-In reunion safely out of the way, axeman Omar Rodriguez Lopez can get back to the important business of confusing the hell out of people. While his group's performance at Metamorphose Spring '12 stuck mainly to an acid-fried power trio format, by November they seemed to have morphed into a new band, the synth-heavy Bosnian Rainbows. All of which makes it hard to say what exactly to expect from the Omar Rodriguez Lopez Group's upcoming gig at Liquidroom, other than that it probably won't be what you expected.
