Time Out says

This is the largest shoebox-shaped hall in Japan, designed to produce the best possible acoustics – though some complain it’s rather echoey. Classical, opera and ballet are the norm, but works in other genres are also staged.

Drum Tao - The Best

With dynamic choreography and booming taiko drums, Drum Tao is one of those spectacles that deserve to be on everyone’s bucket list. The group incorporates taiko drumming, koto music, martial arts and physical theatre in their immersive shows, which are held over 600 times a year worldwide across three teams. Now’s your chance to see these world-class entertainers in the flesh at Bunkamura Orchard Hall in Shibuya, where Drum Tao will be performing on January 10 and January 11. The shows celebrate 32 years since Drum Tao’s formation with a major overhaul of the group’s signature music and visual performances. As the name suggests, the production is set to be ‘the best’ it's ever been, featuring fresh remakes of the many masterpieces created by Drum Tao over the past three decades.
