Following Pompompurin’s crowning as this year’s most popular Sanrio character, the adorable golden retriever is getting its very own festival this September to celebrate both the achievement and the character’s 30th anniversary.
Taking place from September 12 to 13 at the Yokohama Red Brick Warehouse Event Plaza, the festival will feature a stage appearance by Pompompurin, along with live performances by Juice=Juice and Monaki. There will also be exclusive Pompompurin merchandise, limited-edition food and drinks, and festival games.
Entry is free, but the area in front of the stage requires a paid advance ticket (more ticketing details here).
