Ruby Room 16th Anniversary

Shibuya's iconic indie live house Ruby Room is celebrating its 16th anniversary this year with the usual blow-out party. Like past years, this event runs all night, starting at 4.30pm Saturday through 12noon the next day (major props to anyone who makes it the full 20 hours). Kicking off the night are seven live bands plus the usual 'Ruby Room Allstars' act – an impromptu jam session by a rotating band of Ruby Room regulars. When the live music stops, a staggering 18 DJs are standing by to take up the mantle and carry the night into a riotous dance party.
