Sad Day For Puppets

Time Out says

Think shoegaze, and it tends to be bands like My Bloody Valentine who spring to mind rather than poppier descendants such as the Boo Radleys and Lush. It's the latter who Sweden's Sad Day For Puppets more closely resemble: sure, they like a bit of guitar noise, but they're far more interested in letting Anna Eklund's vocals hog the limelight. After scoring a few releases on Japanese indie Fastcut Records, the group are finally making their live debut over here this month with a nationwide tour. Following an appearance at Fever earlier in the month, they return for a final show featuring support from card-carrying shoegazers Bertoia and jangly indie rockers Caucus.
