Sensational meets Koyxeи

As collaborations go, it's not quite as bizarre as when Kool Keith hooked up with Japanese post-funk-hardcore act 54-71 – but there's still a tantalising aura of otherness surrounding this collaboration between ex-Jungle Brothers member Sensational and breakbeat-loving laptop producer Kouhei Matsunaga, aka Koyxeи. Over the course of two hastily recorded albums and intermittent live dates, the duo have birthed a bastard hip hop so out-there, it makes Death Grips sound like Linkin Park. Go get your brain fried when they play live at SuperDeluxe, with less intimidating support from Kakato (aka dextrous MCs Tamaki Roy and Chinza Dopeness), DJ Scotch Bonnet (aka UK-based producer DJ Scotch Egg) and track maker Jemapur (aka... er, Jemapur).
