Music fans with more stamina than sense can get a full 12 hours' worth of gigging action at this multi-venue fest in Shimokitazawa. Returning for its second year, Sound Cruising follows a similar format to the more established Shimokitazawa Indie Fanclub, with bands playing simultaneously at live houses throughout the neighbourhood – the twist being that this one starts at 5pm and runs until dawn. This year's lineup includes some high-profile acts amongst the more obscure bands, including techno DJ Takkyu Ishino, electronica icon De De Mouse and idol groups BiS and Dempagumi.inc, plus overseas visitors The Whip and Theo Berndt.
