Time Out says

Whether you think his music is a work of genius or the worst insult inflicted on the listening public since Limp Bizkit, there's no denying that Skrillex has had a banner year. The former post-hardcore vocalist from LA has become one of the poster boys for the EDM movement in the US, twisting the sounds of the UK's dubstep scene into something altogether more headbanging. After picking up three Grammy Awards in February – including Best Dance/Electronica Album for his EP Scary Monsters and Nice Sprites – the producer was named the second highest-paid DJ in the world by Forbes, with earnings of $15 million. Take that, haters. So far, Japanese audiences have been denied (or should that be spared?) the chance to find out what all the fuss is about, but that'll change when Skrillex makes his debut here in November.
