Steve Appleton's 2009 single 'Dirty Funk' made him a star in Japan, and he's continued to enjoy a following here even as he's struggled to maintain the momentum elsewhere (sophomore album Colours isn't even available in his native UK, but it was released by Sony Music Japan). The 22-year-old singer-songwriter returns to Liquidroom, where he played on his first headlining tour in 2009.
