Taico Club on the Streets

Long one of Japan’s better dance festivals, the Nagano-based Taico Club is a big-time outdoor bash taking place in early summer every year. Now, however, the party goes urban: held as a part of the Shibuya Music Festival, the street version of Taico Club takes over Bunkamura-dori for free gigs during the afternoon before moving to Tsutaya O-East and Duo Music Exchange for the evening. The lineup includes multi-instrumentalist Dosh, Dutch ambient star Kettel and instrumental trio Nisennenmondai.
