The Kooks

Five years after debut album Inside In/Inside Out went quadruple platinum in their native UK, The Kooks have finally achieved a level of success that's commensurate with the blandness of their guitar pop. Album number three, Junk of the Heart, limped in at number 10 when it was released last September, suggesting that this lot won't be playing anywhere as large as Akasaka Blitz the next time they're in town.
