Band reunions can get complicated when the person who gave the group its name doesn't want to take part. Such was the dilemma faced by the members of '60s R&B band Manfred Mann, who reconvened in 1991 without their eponymous keyboard player – hence their choice of name, The Manfreds. Original vocalist Paul Jones and his successor, Mike d'Abo, are both on board for this British Invasion revival, which also includes founder members Mike Hug and Tom McGuinness. This show at Garden in Shimokitazawa comes sandwiched between gigs at Fever on Friday and Sunday.
