The Oversleep Excuse, et al

The fantastically named Oversleep Excuse head up a bill of Tokyo-based musicians, performing at the spartan but cosy Golden Egg live house in Kabukicho. Known for their use of marimbas and steel drums, they are one of the more exotic bands currently crawling the Tokyo circuit, and their appearance here, with support from the similarly talented Samm Bennett (Medicine Bone) ought to make for an interesting night for lovers of the alternative. Further support comes from power trio Honeydew, fresh from honing their craft in New York, and tireless musician and promoter Andrew Tyrone Rodgers, here performing as part of Tyrone, Teru & Miwa.
