The Pogues

Last seen on these shores back in 2006, famously fractious Irish ensemble The Pogues will be making a long overdue return next March... or will they? The Irish Independent reported on October 30 that volatile frontman Shane MacGowan had nixed the upcoming tour of Australia and Japan after yet another falling-out with his bandmates, though that hasn't stopped promoters Smash from announcing the date. For now, it looks like the show will be going ahead, though it remains to be seen if MacGowan will be tagging along for the ride.
