The Script

This Dublin trio, who took several steps up the fame ladder when their frontman Danny O'Donoghue and his pouty face appeared in a judge's chair on the UK version of the 'The Voice', return to Tokyo in January. They tread a middle-of-the-road pop-rock path that's similar to One Republic, and once proclaimed themselves to be 'U2 versus Timbaland' (hmm, OK). With a sturdy fan base in Japan as well, they'll probably be able to fill Akasaka Blitz without too much effort.
