Tokyo Music Evening Yube: Conisch
Classical concert series Tokyo Music Evening Yube hosts pianist Conisch, violinist Ran Matsumoto and contrabass player Yu Jidaisho.
Conisch is known for writing music for the 2020 Pokémon anime series ‘Twilight Wings,’ based on the Pokémon Sword and Shield games. Conisch has described Matsumoto as a ‘Japanese treasure’ for his violin talent, and also praises the up-and-coming Jidaisho for his exceptional production skills.
The program features eight songs including some from Japanese TV, such as ‘Play Heath Wing’, the theme song of morning show Hiruobi, and ‘Blue Moon’ from FujiTV drama series Xmas no Kiseki.
Due to the ongoing Covid-19 pandemic, seats have been arranged to ensure social distancing and guest numbers are limited.
