San Francisco-based Latin-music maven Roberto Ernesto Gyemant, better known as DJ Beto, will be digging deep into his bag of funk, boogaloo, salsa, cumbia and much more at this brilliant-looking Shibuya night, organised by local 'tropical music' spinners Tokyo Sabroso. The driving force behind 2006 compilation album Panama! Latin, Calypso and Funk on the Isthmus 1965-75, which took the electronic music world by storm by bringing old-school party tunes from Panama into the worldwide consciousness, Beto is sure to make you forget all about the rainy season with his sun-kissed tunes.
