Time Out says

Most people know him as the self-absorbed cinematic auteur who gave us Buffalo '66 and The Brown Bunny, but Vincent Gallo was an active figure on the New York underground music scene long before he made his name on the big screen. From playing with a pre-fame Jean Michel Basquiat in Gray to releasing a pair of albums on Warp Records in the early 2000s and curating the All Tomorrow's Parties festival in England, Gallo's musical activities have been pretty eclectic, to say the least. Expect some moody, downtempo improvisations and the odd vocal number when he returns to the Blue Note for the first time since 2010, in a trio with multi-instrumentalists Alex Noice and Jon Armstrong.
