Time Out says

Some clubs will only open their doors during the weekends – Womb isn’t one of them. Almost every night is a party at Womb, with music ranging from electric house to hip hop blasting through the speakers across its three-storey venue. Each night of the week has a different theme; certain nights are reserved for bass music with some trap and hip hop while others are soundtracked by a mix of electro house. Fees vary, but prices generally start from ¥3,000 and you can often get a discount if you pull out the event’s digital flyer (available on the club’s social media channels) at the door.

Womb New Year Countdown 2026

Welcome the new year at Womb in Shibuya, which is hosting a countdown party with some of the city’s hottest DJs. The headliner for the evening is British DJ Craig Richards, who is widely renowned for his impact on the London electronic music scene from his weekly sets at Farringdon's fabric. Berlin-based DJ Masda, originally from Shizuoka, also joins the lineup, bringing captivating sets that blend futurist electro with the playful rhythm of house music. To complement his electrifying show, there will be top-notch lighting and laser effects produced by Manami Sakamoto. There’s even a giant 3-sided LED screen to loop you in on all the action.  Be sure to purchase tickets in advance online, as tickets for entry before 1am will not be sold at the door if advance tickets are sold out. Advanced tickets with early bird discounts (¥5,000) have sold out.
