Ximena Sariñana

Already a star in her native Mexico, singer-songwriter Ximena Sariñana made a concerted bid for crossover success last year when she released her first English-language album. The eponymous Ximena Sariñana recruited Lily Allen producer Greg Kurstin and TV on the Radio's Dave Sitek – as well as Sariñana's current beau, Mars Volta guitarist Omar Rodriguez-Lopez – for a selection of catchy, predominantly synth-based alt. pop songs. If it worked well on record, it should sound even better live, where this talented vocalist shines brightest.
