Yo La Tengo

Veteran indie rockers and cover masters Yo La Tengo return to Japan after a five-year absence, playing at Roppongi's shiny new Ex Theater. Their latest album, the 2013 Fade, was a decent combination of new inspiration and the winning recipe that has kept these New Jersey natives in critics' good books for over two decades now. You never know what you're going to get in terms of gig content with this trio, so you better prepare to be surprised this time too.

Update: Yo La Tengo will also be playing at Liquidroom on May 11 (show from 6pm). Tickets for this extra gig go on sale from April 12 and cost ¥6,000.
