If you can’t get enough of Ghibli merchandise and are eagerly waiting for the impending theme park set to open in 2022, you’ll want to add these adorable timepieces to your collection of Totoro soft toys, mugs and stationery.

Designed after two of Studio Ghibli’s most popular films ‘My Neighbor Totoro’ and ‘Kiki’s Delivery Service’, this collection of eight Seiko timepieces features stylish motifs in multiple colourways. You’ll find the watch faces adorned with images of Kiki’s cute cat Jiji and of course, Totoro. The back of the watches are just as interesting, with engraved images on both the watch back and leather straps.

Furthermore, in celebration of the 30th anniversary of ’My Neighbor Totoro’, the collection will also include two limited-edition watches featuring Totoro holding a four-leaf clover in either black or ivory (see top photo).

Better mark your calendars now. The watches are limited to just 1,000 pieces for each style, and they go on sale on July 7; the limited-edition Totoro ones will be available later on August 4. The prices are surprisingly friendly on the wallet: the regular editions are ¥9,000 each while the limited-edition Totoro timepieces retail for just ¥15,000 each. There’s no news on the stockists yet, but we bet the official Studio Ghibli merchandise shop would be a good place to start.
