Pokémon is having a major moment in Tokyo this year, as the city welcomed the world’s first Pokémon theme park and now gears up for the franchise’s 30th anniversary with one of the cutest collabs yet. Grand Hyatt Tokyo and Pokémon have teamed up to offer guests two summer stay packages, including a room where you can enjoy a sleepover with 30 Pikachu plushies.

The summer stay packages are available from June 20 through August 26 and feature fun rooms decked out with Pokémon decorations, unique collaboration amenities and a tasty Pokémon-inspired menu.

The fanciest of the two stay packages is the Pokémon 30th Anniversary Grand Adventure Suite (limited to one group per night), which transforms the hotel’s Chairman Suite into a full-on Pokémon adventure with various pocket monsters to discover as you move throughout the suite.

The highlight of this room is a massive green space filled with 30 Pikachu plushies, including an adorable Pikachu taking off in a hot air balloon.

Additionally, the suite’s living room, bedroom and bathroom have been revamped to reflect the habitats of different Pokémon types, including Grass, Fire and Water. You’ll spot a number of iconic pocket monsters in the rooms, such as Bulbasaur, Tangela, Charmander, Vulpix, Squirtle and Lapras.

The second stay package is the Pokémon 30th Anniversary Grand Adventure twin room, which is just as fun, featuring Pokémon design motifs and artwork throughout. Guests can also enjoy Pikachu pancakes for breakfast at The French Kitchen, along with the restaurant’s popular morning buffet.

Pricing for the stays varies by date, but the Pokémon 30th Anniversary Grand Adventure Suite can cost around ¥400,000 per night for two guests. The twin room, meanwhile, starts at around ¥71,500 per night for two.

Bookings for the Pokémon stays are now open and you can find more information via the website.
