Gudetama fans, make your way over to your nearest McDonald’s starting this Friday (Jun 8) for this adorable lazy egg McFlurry. In celebration of its fifth anniversary this year, Gudetama has been making the rounds recently, first at spas in Shizuoka and Osaka and now at McDonald’s stores across Japan. The new Gudetama-themed McFlurry will come in six egg-cellent cup designs which you can collect.

These McFlurry cups feature Gudetama in various styles and guises, including donning a McD hat and a pair of Kanye West-inspired shutter shades. The flavours however, have been kept a secret for the time being, but expect your typical McDonald’s milk soft serve laced with two different sauces that look vaguely like caramel and chocolate and a mix-in that resembles either cake or cookie pieces.
At ¥290 a pop, these egg-citing Gudetama McFlurrys are certainly easy on the wallet. For the kids, Happy Meals will also come with a Gudetama surprise during the promotion period.
