Menu highlights include the strawberry matcha (¥1,250), which strikes a balance between the strawberry’s sweetness and the matcha’s bright accents, avoiding being overwhelmingly sweet. Or opt for the tropical mango matcha (¥1,250) for the full summer experience.
If you’re after something a little sweeter with a touch of spice, try the matcha craft cola (¥980), which gives you the perfect kick to get through a sweltering summer day. While you're there, don't forget to pick up one of the café's original matcha powders, such as the ceremonial-grade organic matcha (¥5,500) or the organic matcha (¥4,000).
On weekdays, the carefully curated playlist gives the space a relaxed, beachside atmosphere, while weekend DJ sets bring a more upbeat energy with music that evokes, again, endless summer vibes. The wooden speakers, built by Silence Please, a New York-based design studio that transforms hi-fi audio equipment into collectable, functional design pieces, were brought in from the US to deliver an impeccable aural experience.
Whether you’re stopping by for a perfectly whisked matcha or picking up ceremonial-grade tea to enjoy at home, Summer Studios is a great spot to slow down and escape the heat.
