Pokémon fans who are tying the knot can soon hire Japan’s popular wedding planning company Escrit to celebrate their big day in a special Pikachu-themed setting. Pikachu is widely regarded as the mascot of the Pokémon games and franchise. And with multiple Escrit locations across the country, you can get married in one of the dozen Tokyo locations, or even travel as far south as the tropical islands of Okinawa.

Decoration-wise, the wedding package includes a welcome board (pictured top) with a Pikachu couple greeting guests at the entrance of the banquet hall. Moreover, the newlyweds and their guests can look forward to a cheerful table setting with cute place cards and a programme pamphlet featuring a Pikachu couple hiding in a flower bed.

The iconic yellow creature even made it onto plates of food as the Pikachu Wedding plan includes a French dinner course. The dessert plate, for example, comes complete with a macaron designed after a Poké Ball.

The culinary feast ends with a three-tiered wedding cake. The common white whipped cream is being swapped out for a pastel Pikachu-yellow one, which is garnished with slices of lemon and orange, as well as more Pokémon-themed macarons.

That’s not all: Escrit even hinted about an additional ‘fantastic performance’ gracing the wedding reception. Perhaps your beloved yellow friend will make an appearance to bless your wedding celebration?
