Visit Tokyo and you will be amazed by the city’s diversity. As a city where traditional aspects blend in seamlessly with the latest in design, architecture and technology, most travellers will find that a holiday here is simply not enough. For them, they have decided to relocate and make Tokyo their new home.

But what are their impressions of Tokyo? What made them fall in love with the city? What are their favourite places in town? The Tokyo Talk Stories videos, launched in 2016, aim to reveal these insights and secrets. Meet a variety of experts, ranging from CEOs, designers and teachers to writers, pastry chefs and even journalists, who will regale you with tales of what life is like in our cosmopolitan city.

The latest series features three international residents from Spain, the US and the UK respectively.

A user experience designer from Barcelona relocates to Tokyo as he is inspired by the many different design elements in the city.

This American pastry chef opened his own cake shop in Nakano and provides beautiful creations for his customers.

This CEO from the UK is impressed by the architecture of the Yoyogi National Stadium, which is just a short walk from Harajuku or Shibuya.
