AgeHa's Halloween parties usually boast the largest scale in town, and this year is no exception. The action kicks off on Friday with a 15th-year anniversary celebration featuring ever-present DJ Kaori, Filipino-born songstress Beverly, veteran J-pop cheeseball Marc Panther and a handful of disco-focused DJs, while Saturday once again sees a show assembled in collaboration with Harajuku promoters Asobisystem – think superstar producer Yasutaka Nakata, Taiwanese visitors Junior & Royal and electro spinner Mitomi Tokoto, plus the skimpily dressed CyberJapan Dancers. Proceedings conclude with a 'Bayside Dance' party on October 31, when hip hop acts including Tempura Kidz and Dotama are set to fire up the crowd. Those in full costume pay only ¥3,000 on the door (¥2,500 on Friday, ¥2,000 on Tuesday), and can participate in a costume contest with 'luxurious prizes' (Fri & Sat only). You better be on top of your ghost game.
