The legendary concert series Back From The Grave is putting together a Halloween event worthy of the name with two nights of rock and roll debauchery at Shinjuku Loft. The series organizer – known only as ‘Daddy-O-Nov’ – has been tracing and shaping Japan’s garage rock scene since the series began in 1989.
On the roster this Halloween is The 5.6.7.8 (all-girl band of Kill Bill fame) along with over 50 other Japanese bands spanning from power pop to hardcore, including Guitar Wolf and Kinoco Hotel. Joining them are a few overseas garage punk legends and a long list of DJs. The costumes will be killer, the dancing will be riotous, and the booze will be flowing.
