House and techno night Black On It is back for its sixth anniversary with a packed line-up of DJs at Shibuya nightclub Womb. There will be music across three floors, featuring back-to-back sets covering a wide range of genres.
Head to the second floor to catch a B2B set by resident DJ Masanori Morita (Studio Apartment) and Osamu M. Also on the night's roster is renowned Japanese techno DJ and producer Ken Ishii, who is celebrating his 30th year on the international scene. He was previously named best techno DJ at the Ibiza DJ Awards. You should also look out for local DJ duo Drunken Kong, who’ve been active on Tokyo’s techno scene and have also performed at major clubs in Europe.
On the VIP fourth floor, Kawasaki DJ K.E.G will be spinning an eclectic mix of IDM, hypnotic and tribal techno. DJ Yogurt, a familiar face on the Tokyo scene since the 1990s, is also bringing his house and techno sounds to this floor.
More DJs are appearing on the first floor, including a back-to-back set by Tokyo DJs Katimi Ai and Nanami.
Doors open at 10pm and entry is ¥3,000 before 12midnight (¥3,500 after 12midnight). If you’re under 23, entry is ¥3,000 all night.

But those constraints have now been lifted, so this sixth anniversary special is sure to be an epic party and a celebration of Tokyo’s revived nightlife scene. Get ready to stay up all night.
