Formerly known as Headhunter, new-school footworker Addison Groove maintains an iron grip on the UK bass scene. Having reinvented himself with 2010 megahit 'Footcrab', the Bristol native fuses dubstep, techno and Chicago juke in his enduringly influential productions and live sets. Catch the man born Antony Williams in Shibuya over a long Friday night: things kick off with a warm-up programme at Toranoko Shokudo, where a small army of local DJs will be spinning Bristol-influenced tunes, while the man himself will be appearing at Star Lounge nearby a few hours later alongside Tokyo scene veteran Takeshi Kubota.
