Time Out says

The closing of Daikanyama's Air at the end of last year dealt another blow to Tokyo's more discerning clubbers, who are more than used to losing great venues (remember Yellow and Eleven?). Spring, however, brings a glimmer a hope: labelled Air's spiritual successor, new club Contact will be opening its doors on Shibuya's Dogenzaka in April with this weekend double-header. Helping celebrate its birth on Friday will be underground techno old-timer Dave Sumner aka Function, a regular at the Labyrinth festival, along with psychedelic Berliners Artefakt. The parade of big names continues on Saturday, with New York house legend François Kevorkian set to be joined by London's producer to the stars Howie B. If this lineup is a sign of things to come, we're willing to bet on Contact quickly emerging as one of the city's finest venues.
