Cycle of Jomon

Get an intoxicating dose of roots rhythms and other funky tunes at this eclectic meeting of hip hop, bass beats and world music, loosely themed on ancient Jomon (ca 14,000-300 BCE) culture. DJs Kensei and Shhhhh will be joined by Oki Dub Ainu Band, the fusion orchestra that draws heavily on dub and African rhythms but plays with traditional instruments of the Ainu, Hokkaido's indigenous people, and Okinawa quartet Churashima Navigator.
