One of Shinjuku megaclub Zerotokyo’s signature regular nights, Essence seeks to showcase the brightest female stars on the global dance music circuit. Having kicked off back in 2024 with a memorable set from the Berlin-based Estella Boersma, the party has since welcomed the likes of Charlotte de Witte, Cloudy and Maya Jane Coles, and is now gearing up for another illustrious visitor.
The March edition of Essence will be headlined by Ukraine’s melodic house and techno queen Korolova, whose recent milestones include playing Tomorrowland’s coveted main stage, electrifying EDC Las Vegas and collaborating with labels like Tomorrowland Music, Insomniac and Anjunabeats. Now managing her own label, Captive Soul, she’s also noted for dropping live streams from dazzling locations around the globe on her YouTube channel. Having just broken into the top 50 on DJ Mag’s annual Top 100 DJs list, Korolova can be counted on to bring a memorable show to Kabukicho.
