I Fuck Tokyo Vol 1

I Fuck Tokyo Vol 1 is what happens when a photographer known for documenting chaos decides Tokyo isn’t supplying enough of it. For her first party, I Fuck Tokyo skips the usual club setup and takes over Sasazuka Bowl, turning a working bowling alley into a one-night collision of live music, bass and laser light.

Live sets come from 1LDK, Gqsh has Friends and Hayate. Haru and Harajuku hyperpop princess N² (Kyundesu) take to the decks, alongside Ecec b2b Mokyo and a secret guest from the UK. Every artist comes from a completely different corner of Tokyo’s music scene and beyond, bringing together acts you’d probably never expect to see sharing the same bill.

The stated theme is chaos – more specifically the cross-scene, no-one-gives-a-shit energy I Fuck Tokyo remembers from the city’s parties five or six years ago. A bowling alley on a Thursday until 5am feels like a solid attempt to bring it back.
