Time Out says

Music venue Spotify O-East and DJ bar Azumaya have teamed up to create one of the largest nightclubs in Shibuya for techno and house music lovers. Midnight East is just a five-minute walk from Shibuya Station in the Dogenzaka district and welcomes up to 1,300 people per night.

Some of the highlights at the club are the massive 15.6m LED screen and DJ bar Azumaya, which has Western and Japanese influences and is inspired by the concept of wakon yosai (Japanese spirit with Western learning).

Midnight East has hosted world-renowned artists like DJ Nobu, Floating Points, DJ Harvey, Amelie Lens and Laurent Garnier, with many more to come. While most events are held exclusively at Midnight East, it also hosts festivals together with other venues in the neighbourhood like Duo Music Exchange.

Opening times vary depending on the event; check the Instagram account for more information.
