If you enjoy plumbing the outer reaches of the dance music universe, the dB nights at Contact are pretty much unmissable. This sixth edition welcomes Belgian abstract techno duo Sendai, whose members Peter Van Hoesen and Yves De Mey released a new album – Ground And Figure on Editions Mego – exactly one year ago, opening a new minimalist chapter in their eclectic story. Joining them in the main booth will be fellow minimal wizard Akiko Kiyama, who is set to appear under her new Aalko moniker on the night, and Sugai Ken, whose mysterious, glitchy tunes draw on traditional Japanese folk music for inspiration.
