Waifu is a monthly party held at Aoyama Hachi club. The event started back in May 2019 as a response to a controversial incident where a transgender woman was denied entry at a lesbian party in Shinjuku Ni-chome.
This event seeks to be an open space accepting of diversity, especially those in the LGBTQ community, so everyone regardless of gender, sexuality, ethnicity and age are welcome. Come dance to some good house and techno music by local DJs including Chloé Juliette, Suimin and Lisa Tani. The 4th floor will feature booths selling LGBTQ-related goods and vegan food.
