Originally from California's Cupertino, best known as the hometown of Apple, Alexander's offers a fine dining interpretation of the modern American steakhouse with a few Japanese influences thrown in for good measure – apparently a winning concept, as the group now runs a total of four restaurants, including one in Taipei. Having opened the fifth in November 2016 high above Shiodome, on the 42th floor of the City Center building, it serves classic cuts such as Ribeye, Bone-In New York and Filet Mignon alongside sustainable seafood. Both wagyu and American beef grace the menu, as do seasonal Japanese vegetables and decadent desserts. They've certainly been blessed with quite the location – here's to hoping the food will live up to the billing.
