Time Out says

This bakery-café in front of Hamamatsucho Station doesn’t just offer freshly baked goods, it also serves up a breakfast menu (from ¥500) during the day and wine-compatible dishes come evening. With a focus on healthy-eating, the Bartizan's bread doesn’t contain any sugar or oil, and is simply made from domestically sourced wheat and rye flour, water and salt. Plus, the yeast is also homemade.

There are four different types of bread to choose from, including Bartizan’s signature sourdough as well as another featuring green olives and rosemary. Thanks to the open kitchen, you can watch the chefs and pastry masters at work while enjoying your meal. Keep in mind that bread is only sold from 5pm – but if you'd like to pick up a loaf before that, make a reservation one day ahead.
