Bay Leaf (CLOSED)

It doesn't look like much more than a street-side counter, found right next door from the more accomplished Jade5 diner in Hiroo, but Bay Leaf serves up surprisingly wholesome and hearty salad bowls and wraps. Customers drop by mainly for takeout, although there is some space to sit down and relax on slow days. You get to choose from eight salad options, with familiar favourites like Caesar and California salads accompanied by more innovative mixtures like Apple Tuna and Buffalo Chicken. The condiment selection is also plentiful to say the least, while a range of topping options complete the menu. Note that the wraps are considerably daintier, and are unlikely to fill up a hungry lunch hunter.
