This restaurant was born in 2004 out of a collaboration between French celebrity chef Alain Ducasse and Chanel. Even though more than a decade has passed since it first opened on the top floor of the luxury brand's Ginza building, getting a table here can still be a real challenge. When you do, however, you're in for a spectacle: the high-ceilinged dining space created by Chanel's boutique designer extraordinaire Peter Marino overlooks the area's glittering sights, and the authentic French cuisine is real special-occasion stuff.
