Conveniently located between Roppongi Station and Azabudai Hills, Big Iowa BBQ is a spacious sports bar serving authentic Midwestern smoked barbecue. Sourcing their pork from select farms in Iowa under the Berkshire Pork brand name, the restaurant is no slouch when it comes to delivering juicy pork belly and savoury pulled pork burgers.
Cooked with a bourbon glaze in a housemade smoker using hickory smoking wood, the pork belly is a particular highlight, thanks to a meticulous smoking and seasoning process that takes from 10 to 14 hours. You’ll also find plenty more hearty American comfort food on the menu, from ribs to brisket to mac ’n’ cheese and cornbread – all best enjoyed with a cold pint from a good range of imported craft beers while watching a game on one of the many screens. It’s a slice of Iowa right in the heart of Tokyo.
