Tucked into a side street some way towards Ochanomizu from Hongo-Sanchome Station, Wagyu Itto Yakiniku Teuchi Reimen Boya – to give its official name – buys in whole cows and serves up a dizzying variety of rare cuts for your grilling pleasure. Pick and choose from the skirt sinew, select aitchbone and liver cuts, or go for a prix fixe deal (from ¥5,500) – some of these also include raw meats served sashimi-style and particularly flavourful homemade reimen (cold noodles) to finish things off. Other links in the same chain include the Boyas in Nishi-Nippori, Nippori and Nihonbashi.
